Allison and Steve were married on Cape Cod, right in Allison’s aunt’s backyard. It was my first time at the Cape, but the outdoor ceremony and tented reception overlooking the water was probably as much my dream as a photographer as it was Allison’s for her own wedding!
They had sweet little sea-inspired accents like starfish boutonnieres and seashell cupped bridesmaid bouquets, as well as oysters (on a boat!) and made-to-order sushi for guests to enjoy. My favorite part of the whole day though was seeing Allison and Steve on the dance floor together. It was so fitting that Steve’s best man’s speech compared marriage to dancing: you choose a partner you know you’ll work well with, try not to step on each other’s toes,Β make adjustments as you go,Β and just have fun as you move together. So I think it was a great sign when Allison and Steve came alive together on the dance floor. They couldn’t wipe the smiles from their faces and it was evident to everyone watching that they make an amazing couple!
Here are some of my favorites from the day..
Beautiful photos as always Jen! I especially love https://www.jeningphotography.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Allison%20%26%20Steve%20Wedding/AllisonSteve363.jpg I think it perfectly captures the joy of the wedding celebration!
Just beautiful, well done!
These photos make me REALLY miss summer. I love how intimate and fun this wedding looks. Tents with lanterns and strings of light make me swoon. :)
