Erin and Jared were married last summer at the Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont. It was a beautiful day for an outdoor wedding with the gardens and trees as their backdrop. I loved that they incorporated fun bird details throughout the day to tie in the theme of their venue. Here are some of my favorites from their day!
OPEN POSTI have been looking through my archives recently and revisited this fall wedding I photographed at the Misselwood Estate at Endicott College from 2012. Sometimes weddings or portrait sessions don’t make it to the blog for whatever reason, but this one was one of my favorites and I wanted to share it. Amanda and Mike got ready at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem and made their way to Misselwood where they had such a sweet and tearful first look. They had a beautiful ceremony overlooking the water at the estate. Probably the most memorable part of the day for me was their reception dance floor because it included a competitive sing-off between the bride and groom’s sides which even now I can only describe as ridiculously amazing. Looking back on these photos was so much fun and gave me a chance to reflect on what wonderful couples I’ve had the honor of working with.
OPEN POSTI spent one afternoon in Boston last summer with Mari and Rich for their engagement session. We started off in Fenway Park since they both love baseball (despite rooting for rival teams!), and then made our way to Copley to get some Β shots around the square and at the Boston Public Library. Mari and Rich are so sweet and silly together; it was really such a joy to work with them and see just how much they made each other laugh. Fun behind the scene facts: we also stopped by a game hall to play some ping pong (they were so competitive with each other it was adorable) and somewhere amidst all the shooting they even managed to sneak their way into a free public dance lesson that was taking place in the square. Overall, this was definitely one of my more “eventful” engagement sessions, and I had so much fun! I’ll be sharing more from their wedding that took place at the Ballymeade Country Club soon!
OPEN POSTI know I’ve been so behind on blogging, but my favorite thing about finally getting to it is revisiting all of the wonderful sessions and couples that I’ve photographed! Here is Erin and Jared’s engagement session from last spring around Harvard, where they had their first date. We started in the main square and walked our way towards the Charles River, finding perfect spots along the way. They are so cute together, and I can’t wait to share more of these two from their wedding at the Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary in Belmont!
OPEN POSTAmy and Brian held their intimate wedding at the Harvard Faculty Club in Cambridge. They chose to have their closest family and friends with them, and I couldn’t have asked for sweeter clients to work with. I don’t often get to stay through the very end of the reception, so it was fun to spend the day beside them and not only document but witness all aspects of the day – from the anticipatory start as they both got ready in their respective rooms (Amy’s room was so pretty with its gold mirrors and beautiful wallpaper!) to their fun glow stick send-off at the end of the night! Here are some of my favorites from their day.
