It’s beginning to feel like fall here in New England, so what better time to share Leela and Dave’s wedding at the Boston Museum of Science. ย They had beautiful orange accents sprinkled throughout their day, did their First Look with the Charles River and Boston skyline as their backdrop, and my absolutely favorite: sang to their guests upon their entrance to the reception. Leela and Dave’s love and joy permeated the whole celebration. And they sure know how to have fun! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding.
Jessica and Hans were married at the Estate at Moraine Farm,ย a lovely venue in Beverly, MA. The estate sits on a beautiful piece of land lined with trees and overlooking a serene lake, plus the prettiest little garden sits hidden to the side. The weather was perfect that day and Jessica and Hans took advantage of all of the spaces, having their ceremony on the lawn, taking pictures along the lake and garden, holding their tea ceremony in the estate itself, and dancing the night away in their tent under the moonlit trees. There was no shortage of laughter or tears, and I was so honored to be there to capture it all! Here are some of my favorites from the day.
OPEN POSTThis is a wedding I’ve ben meaning to blog for a while now (along with several other weddings which will be up on the blog soon)! Chantal and Alec were married last fall at the gorgeous Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod. Though they both currently live in Switzerland, Alec was fond of visiting his grandparents in Chatham growing up and because he and Chantal are both from New England, it was an easy choice for them to hold their wedding there. The clouds loomed above all day, but thankfully the raindrops held off for just long enough during their ceremony, where they gave their vows with the ocean waters looking on. This was one of my favorite weddings to photograph last year, filled with sweet and simple details to complement the nautical feel of the Inn.
OPEN POSTIt’s sweltering outside at the moment, but looking at these photos from Amy and Brian’s engagement session is helping to cool me off. That day was chilly and despite the rain that eventually cut our session a little short, these two made the best out of the situation – and I love to think that is just how they are when they’re together! We spent the time walking around Harvard, where they met and where they live and work (and where they got married!). I can’t wait to share more images of them from their recent wedding.
OPEN POSTI photographed Lisa and Brian’s wedding at the Charles Hotel back in 2010, so it was such a nice surprise to hear from them earlier this year asking for a family photo session with Owen, the newest member of their family! We started the session at Jamaica Pond, and Owen stole my heart right away with his sweet little smile and adorable fashion sense. He was 10 months old when we did this session, and I already could tell that he was going to be a hit with the ladies – every time a female runner ran by during our time at the pond, his eyes would light up and he would give a wide smile (and often received one back)!
After getting some fun images outside, we headed to their home for some last indoor shots.ย It was such a pleasure to reconnect with Lisa and Brian and learn about what they’re up to now as well as meet little Owen.ย Here are some of my favorites from their session!
