I’ve had the pleasure and honor of working with Lisa and Brian on their wedding and some past family photos, and we recently got together for another family session at the Arnold Arboretum. It was fun to see Lisa and Brian as always, to marvel at how Owen has gotten so much bigger than the last time I saw him, and to meet sweet little Isaac for the first time.
The Arboretum was the perfect place for photos since they often spend time there together as a family, and it gave the boys plenty of space to run around to get their energy out. It’s so tough getting little ones to stay still but that’s what I love about sessions like these – those countless fun little moments where the kids are just being themselves. It’s so special to me that I’ve been able to photograph this family as its grown from two, to three, and now to four over the years. Here are some of my favorites from their session!
OPEN POSTChun and Marc were married this spring at Alden Castle in Brookline, a venue tucked right in along the Riverway near Longwood. It was really sweet to see Chun, whom I’ve known for years, make this special commitment to someone as kind and caring and crazy about her as Marc. Their wedding felt just right – romantic, elegant yet relaxed, and with a focus on friends and family. And of course when the bride and groom love to dance and met at a salsa club, you can bet the reception dance floor was heavily utilized. :)
Thank you for having me, Chun and Marc! Here are some of my favorites from that beautiful day.

OPEN POSTLast summer I second shot for the incredibly talented Heidi Vail at a Vermont wedding at Hildene, a beautiful estate in Manchester that was home to Abraham Lincoln’s son and family for 70 years. I was lucky enough to shoot with Heidi for several more weddings last season (so much fun!) and this was the perfect start. Couldn’t have asked for more gorgeous weather or a more stunning backdrop of hills, gardens, and of course the estate itself. Thanks for having me, Heidi!
OPEN POSTI met up with Penny and Jerry last month for an engagement session around the city. While they’ve made it official at city hall months ago, they’re planning to throw a celebration with friends and family and it was fun to get these portraits in for them before then. We started in Beacon Hill and made our way to the Esplanade. I loved that it was an overcast day because it really made Penny’s red and blue dresses pop! Congrats, you two!
OPEN POSTLily and Marcelo had an intimate city hall ceremony in Boston a few weeks ago, and I was lucky enough to be asked to tag along afterwards to capture some photos of them around our beautiful city. We hit some of the best spots, like Beacon Hill and the Public Garden and Public Library. Every time I get to do one of these sessions I fall more in love with Boston. Lily and Marcelo will be holding a dinner reception later this week, where they’ll have more friends and family along for the celebration, and I can’t wait to document it!
