Scott and Wayne’s wedding in Harvard Square was so special to be a part of. They started their day getting ready at the Charles Hotel, then walking to their wedding ceremony at Memorial Church right in Harvard Yard. Before heading in to the church, we stopped briefly by the tree where they got engaged and they had a sweet, quiet moment together. I loved that they chose to walk down the aisle together as they entered, and stopped briefly again to look at all the beaming faces of the guests that had come to celebrate and support them. There were a lot of things that I loved about the day – that Scott and Wayne both played a piece on the piano during their ceremony, that they had a pinata filled with candy in lieu of a cake, and that they and their guests really livened up the reception with their dancing! With the help of Gracie Lou Events, their day came together seamlessly.
