I’m excited to finally share these images from Phiyen and Jackson’s wedding back in August! They actually had two ceremonies: a Vietnamese ceremony and a Chinese tea ceremony. Both ceremonies were very similar in that they involved gift-giving, ancestral blessings, other blessings and speeches from family members, and tea. Because they took place in both the bride and groom’s homes and involved the family, the ceremonies felt so personal and intimate and were filled with so many tears. I felt incredibly honored to be there to witness and capture everything for them.
After the ceremonies, we headed to the Arnold Arboretum for formal portraits and then to Kowloon restaurant in Saugus for their reception. Here are some of my favorite images from the day..!
Lovely wedding! Love how you captured the moments!
beautiful shots! what an amazing job capturing all the emotions of the day :)
The emotions during the vietnamese tea ceremony are priceless!
